About this Course

Did you know the area that is now Aurora used to be a great sea? Did you know dinosaurs roamed your neighborhood? Step WAY back in time to learn about how this area was originally formed and learn about the scientific processes involved in piecing together the mysteries of our distant past. We will learn about the geological process that made the Rockies Mountains and the High Plains. We will learn about the plants and animals that lived here (yes, including dinosaurs!). And finally, we connect the past to our present. If attendance allows campers will be divided into two age groups.
